This software tool will enable you perform strength analysis on a structure made up of truss elements.
This is no tool for the novice, they’ll simply not know what to do with it. This is a tool for the sophisticated design engineers working of design of metal structures. MATruss performs static strength analysis of a structure made up of truss elements. The software has a pre-processor that makes input of the structure quite a quick and easy process. Once the structure data is in, the tool will calculate the strength of all the individual truss elements to be used in the design. The post-processor included in the software takes the data and the structure design and creates a graphical view of it. The truss elements are displayed in the graphics, marking the vertexes of the design.
The diagram shows the trusses used in the design with color codes. The color shows the stress level as found on the element by the program. The legend displayed on the left of the graphics display show the stress level of each of the element. Stress values are also shown in numerical form. The post-processor included in the tool handles the graphics. You are able to export the graphics for including in the report produced after the design calculations are done. MATruss performs static analyses of your truss constructions. It should be easy to use for the design engineers. It is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista/7 in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
